# Wayra Germany

> Wayra Germany is the open-innovation and investment hub of o2 Telefónica, based in Munich. It connects tech startups with o2 Telefónica's business units through the venture-client model, from low-risk pilot projects and market access to strategic investment (tickets of EUR 150K to 5M).

Wayra Germany is the local hub of o2 Telefónica within Telefónica's global Wayra network. It works with startups through programs such as Traction Boost, Sales Boost and the 5G Tech Lab, and runs the Wayra Residency, a startup workspace in Munich. Across the global Wayra network, Telefónica reports more than 530 startups supported and around EUR 260M invested.
